Panasonic TC-P42G15 42" THX?-certified plasma HDTV.
ER had a front plate so that you are trying to get the best for my money. I never looked at as a plasma tv, I have always thought that LCD was the way forward; I understand the fastest burnt tvs plasma, used in way more energy heated to the point where they couldn ‘ monitored t for long periods of time and of course I have heard stories of horror on the burning in image. Happy to find, is that many plasma manufacturers have addressed these issues in their new tvs. This TV is certified energy star, which means that energy is very similar to many other same size LCD screens (ie, almost identical to LG LH50 42 “”). Heat created distributed for the tv is not a problem, even after looking for several hours, rear tv is just hot. and it could not be burning is pixels in orbit with the new technology. Even more impressive is a new technology for cancellation of the screen, so that if the tv was left for a solid week, also then all tracks of burning image can be deleted entirely. Between the best points of sale of this tv is life, more than 100 000 hours. This is almost double still the best LCD (60,000) validity. As for the image of itself, I would only say that you cannot find an image better as a plasma, LED you cannot enter near. and the top of the line for all televisions panasonic plasma. no attention to the ratio of contrast, every company has different ways of measuring that stat. the plasma is again in a big way, in a few years, the prices on these tvs are determined to rise.
I was an amateur film Parliament now by time and I am the type of update a few years in a desire to meet the latest technology and the largest there. I have had the old TV school, rear projection, CRT, LCD and DLP rear and front projection pipe and LCD flat panel TV experience. As a player, it had never looked plasma of conservation “image. “that said, I must say that I SO glad I finally took the risk!” After a few days of using, I can already say that the G15 is the best TV I have ever had. I still see LED, but honestly, not know as the quality of the image can get much better. I haven ‘ t even done any calibration of my country. I’m only using the default game and THX mode. If you are on the market to buy a new TV and you’re a player and an observer Blu – ray, then do yourself a favor and buy a plasma. I think I have finally found a TV my perhaps I might hold for life, assuming that there is still alive.
The image is surprising, of course. There is virtually no reflections on the screen, which may be a problem for some tvs plasma. Blacks are incredible and colors were super without calibration any hard disk. The Setup program has been very easy. The sound is very good. Not quite well obviously system, but you can get easily without one. We have had some television in the past, including the HDTV with the its absolutely terrible and it is close from nowhere.
Some say that the THX image mode is too dark. It is a little dark, is absolutely perfect for display in a dark area to display the movie. All image adjustment mode is very easily, however, to the output window of calibration without breaking, THX is a very good option.
A small nitpicks almost not worth really remember. The remote database has a button on it to return simply through images display options (standard, custom, thx, etc.), but rather to insert a menu of access. The menu is right at the top, it of not buried, but it would be more convenient that could simply scroll without having to go through that.
Still experiment with the options of VieraCast, so unfortunately I can comment on those.
In General, an incredible tv, especially for the price.
