Like many 50in plasma TV has the Pioneer Kuro PDP5080 HDTV resolution of 1366×768 pixels. This is not so much as a competitor (and usually more expensive) 1080p models. However, the 50-inch screen, the benefits are not clear for most of the 1080p sources. While most plasmas do not display an adequate job of blacks , the Pioneer PDP5080 is remarkable! One with out of the box is the color accuracy of the ad. Kuro, the precision is not the best, especiallywith the color green. For the best picture ever, a little 'tweaking is definitely needed to achieve and can be easily resolved.

The Pioneer PDP-5080, like most plasma TVs of today is very elegant look. The structure is a High Gloss Black with silver on the sides, top and bottom on the set.
